Yes. Recovery Lab is designed for everyday people, not just athletes. All services are self-paced and optional, and our team is always available to guide you through your first visit and help you choose what feels right for your body.

No. Many of our members are busy professionals, parents, or people looking to manage stress, stiffness, or fatigue. Our services are suitable for a wide range of fitness levels and experience.

Yes. You can book individual sessions without a membership. Casual visits are a great way to experience Recovery Lab and explore whether a membership, multi-visit package, or regular recovery routine feels right for you.

You can book a one-off session directly through our online booking system. Simply choose your preferred service, select a time that suits you, and complete your booking — no membership required.

If you’re unsure where to start, we recommend beginning with a gentle option such as infrared sauna, compression therapy, or NuCalm. You can also combine services, and our team is happy to help you choose based on how you’re feeling on the day.

Cold plunge involves short periods of cold water immersion, while contrast therapy alternates between hot and cold exposure. Contrast therapy is often preferred by people looking for a more gradual or balanced experience.

Yes. NuCalm is designed to support deep relaxation by helping the body shift out of a stress response. Sessions are passive and calming, making them suitable for people feeling mentally or physically overwhelmed.

Memberships & Bookings

Membership gives you consistent, affordable access to Recovery Lab’s premium recovery and wellness services. Whether you’re training regularly, managing stress, or prioritising long-term wellbeing, membership supports routine, flexibility, and better value compared to casual visits.

All memberships have a minimum 8-week commitment. This allows enough time to build a regular recovery routine, track how your body responds, and experience the full benefits of consistent use. After the initial period, memberships continue on a flexible ongoing basis.

Weekly and upfront memberships provide unlimited access during your active membership period.
Multi-visit session packs are used on a per-session basis, with each session lasting 30 minutes. This allows you to visit as often as your pack balance allows, at your own pace.

Because memberships provide unlimited access, there are no weekly session limits or rollovers to track. You’re free to visit as often as you like during your active membership period.
For multi-visit session packs, each session is used at the time of booking. Packs do not expire, allowing you to visit at your own pace.
Please note: All bookings — for members, pack holders, and casual visits — are subject to our cancellation policy. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a late fee or the loss of a session from your pack.

Yes. A Recovery Lab Maribyrnong account is required to book sessions, manage your visits, and complete waivers. You can create and access your account through our website or app, making it easy to manage bookings anytime.

Yes. In addition to weekly memberships, we offer upfront memberships and non-expiring multi-visit packs (10, 20, and 50 sessions).
Upfront memberships provide greater overall value, while multi-visit packs are ideal if you prefer maximum flexibility and want to use sessions at your own pace.

Yes. Members and casual visitors can bring a guest and add the guest option at checkout when booking their session.
Please note that sessions can’t be booked for someone else under your account unless you’re attending the session with them.

No. Each membership is assigned to an individual and can’t be shared.
Children under 10 may attend sessions at no additional cost when participating together with a parent or guardian in the same session and remaining supervised at all times.
Children aged 10–15 may attend with a parent or guardian but must be booked and paid for under the adult’s account.
Anyone aged 16 and over requires their own account and membership.

Yes. We limit the number of active memberships to help maintain a calm environment and ensure consistent access to our services for members. Availability may vary depending on capacity.

We understand that plans can change. Cancellations or reschedules must be made within our cancellation window to avoid charges.
Late cancellations may result in a late cancellation fee.
No-shows are charged in full. For members, this may result in a no-show fee. For session packs, the session will be deducted. For casual visits, the full session rate will apply.
Our cancellation policy helps ensure availability and fairness for all members and guests.

Protocols are designed to maximise results safely. We encourage following them as intended. Misuse of protocols or knowingly ignoring guidelines may result in membership review.

If a recurring membership payment fails, we’ll notify you and ask that your payment details be updated as soon as possible.
Our system may automatically attempt to process the payment again. If payment remains unresolved, access to bookings may be temporarily paused until the issue is resolved. Once payment is successful, access will continue as normal.
